Board Member
Evan Taranta is the mom of four kids with three currently attending St. Paul the Apostle (3rd, 2nd, and DK). She is active in the parish community and has served as a room parent and a member of the auction team. Evan joined the Sister Stella Foundation in 2022 because she wants to make a long-term impact on St. Paul the Apostle with projects that will benefit generations of students to come.
Evan grew up in the LA area and attended Marymount High School before heading to Duke University. She spent several years in Washington, DC as a legislative staffer on Capitol Hill. She has since worked as an in house state and federal lobbyist for several companies and does public and government affairs work. Evan and her husband Ethan lived in Houston and Minneapolis before making their way back to California.
Evan also serves on the Board of Directors of Union Rescue Mission -- one of LA's oldest and largest homeless shelters on Skid Row. She is passionate about the mission and currently chairs the philanthropy committee.
